Then again, he had never heard of anyone called 'Buzz' before either. He'd never even heard a name like 'Zurg'. "Wait, who is Emperor Zurg?" Woody was just plain confused. "tch." He hit the side of it with against the palm of his hand. A year of inactivity will do that to electronics. "Emperor Zurg." Buzz looked down at the device in his hands. The man snapped a salute and then ran back out to pass on the orders. "Set a course for Andonnie." Zurg commanded. "In a city called 'Andonnie'." The man said, wringing his hands. "Where?" The Emperor pulled his feet from the desk, and slid the pad closer to get a better look. "We've found a trail of crystalic fusion leading straight towards Earth." "It is sir." The nervous man placed a small electronic pad on the Emperor's desk and turned it towards him. "If this is another shooting star." He let his voice trail off threateningly as he examined one of his black gloves. He moved his feet slightly so as to see his subordinate. "This had better be good." Zurg said, slowly opening his eyes, and tilting his head back down. His head was resting on the back of his chair, his closed eyes turned towards the ceiling. "Sir, we just received some interesting sensor readings."Įmperor Zurg sat reclined in his chair, his pointed boots propped up on the desk before him. (He had given Jessie his laser pistol as an added measure of protection).īuzz scanned the horizon for what felt like the millionth time. Buzz himself had re-suited and was relying on the laser in his suit. Each of the men who chose to stay and fight was concealed somewhere in town, armed with a laser pistol, or a disruptor ray. She was waiting for Buzz to give the signal - they all were. Dolly had refused to go, and so she was armed with a laser pistol from Buzz's stores, and was currently concealed just inside the door to her saloon. Jessie had led the women and children up into the mountains about an hour before dawn. Overnight, the bustling main street had become a textbook definition of a ghost town.įrom his perch atop Bo's millinery shop, Buzz could see almost every nook and cranny of the main street, as well as down the road that led into town. Oh well, at least I have submitted two artworks this month, lol.In all the time that he had been here, Buzz had never seen Andonnie this quiet. When I first thought of the idea, I was really excited and had to finish it the next second, then I lost my confidence in the concept and it just felt cheesy and stupid, now I feel a bit better about it but I'm not really sure what to feel. I'm not sure how much I like the finished product. I remembered Woody and Bo Peep, and well, here it is. I had been a kid when I had watched the first Toy Story and I always thought that Bo Peep was just there and nothing else so it came as a surprise to find that he cared that she was gone.Īnyway, since I couldn't decide between all of the other couple's which one I wanted to do, I decided I wanted to do something different for myself and make a story, sort of. One of the things that stuck out to me in that movie was how Woody reacted when one of the others mentioned her (it's been a while so I can't remember the exact scene). However, I do enjoy Toy Story, and yes I cried in Toy Story 3. Truth be told, I'm actually not a big toy story fan, or a Pixar fan for that matter, and this was definitely not going to be my first choice of couple. My entry for the Disney-Club's Weddings contest.
